Oh my GAWD - YES! Totally worth it! Yeah, I always come across guys I have no history on, BUT I also always come across guys I have thousands of hands on. The more you play the more data you are collecting. Those 3 guys at my table that I only have a few hands on? Well I just hope they stay around long enough for me to collect more hands on them.
Just over this last weekend I was playing a guy that I hand several hundred hands on, but I didn't remember him at all. He leads out UTG and I have JJ in the middle - I 3 bet him and he tanks for a little bit and then shoves. I see this behavior quite a bit in these SitnGoes and it usually dictates a call - HOWEVER his HUD was showing me he was the tightest guy at the table besides me and not prone to 3-betting, let alone shoving. I folded and he showed AA. I responded "It could only be". I went on take 2nd in that one. If not for the HUD I would have been gone.
And I also collect the notes the software doles out on me to the other players to help figure out what they are thinking of me. It sure would be great if you could click on another players HUD and it would show the data of yourself in those common hands.
