Hey everyone,
I've been grinding my bankroll up from .50 cents on Bet Online sit and goes - 6 handed.
I'vee been doing it with the strategy of Hellmuth's NL Holdem tournament book he wrote.
Play only top 15 hands,
AA-22
AK-A-10
Premium suited connectors: KQs - J10s
Another impoortant part of his overall strategy:
Play tighter when blinds are small, because there's no point trying to win little pots or loose little pots when we are going for a double up to gain maximum potential to make it to heads up.
Also, he describes designating players as characters
For instance,
Jackal: LAG
Elephant: Kind of just dwindles away the stack.
ATM: Won't believe you no matter what and stations
Mouse: Super tight player afraid to put money in the pot without the nuts
Eagle: Shark (Tight aggressive)
Donkie: Noob
Theres a color coordinating system on BETONLINE that allows one to pick a color (character) to almost be able to predict how they will play their next pot.
I used to be pro using this strategy actually, for MTT as well. Sadly, I play high stakes cash. But if you are starting from the bottom, this is a good strategy to winning / places top 2.
Thank you for reading, and I hope I opened up your game a little.
BUILD THAT BANKROLL. PEACE. <3
