I play my best poker when playing in MTTs. I make it ITM close to 20% of the time and find myself at the final table a fair amount of those times as well.
However, I typically don't have a lot of time to devote to poker. Also, I can only afford about a $200 bankroll at the moment so my buy-in of choice would be the $2-$5 range since I'd like to keep about 50-100 buy-ins.
I'd like to make this a profitable hobby, and I'm sure I can since I do pretty well with MTT in general. But, it can get boring (and frustrating) sometimes when I bust out of a number of tourneys in a row and typically only have time to play 2, maybe 3, tourneys per week.
Any suggestions for keeping things interesting while still managing a healthy bankroll and not over-committing?
