hey yall.

I was wondering what you lot think about playing 6 handed sng where 1st and 2nd get paid. I would like some general ideas on how you think you should play them. i want something a little more detail then tight early and aggressive on bubble but any advice is welcome.

Blinds are hitting us more frequently in 6max, you can't be as tight as in FR. That said, you're also in position much more frequently, so it should be easier to not be as tight as in FR.

i dont se a problem with it, the only difference between 6 handed poker and 9 handed poker other then the placing chart is that the value of hands go up, and the more aggresive player tends to win more at a 6 handed table

I play in this tournament only TAG. I think it is the best strategy especially considering that when blinds will increase, many will play all-in - fold)))))

If your the type of player who is tight all the time, stick to 9ppl sng games, semi-aggressive players tend to win most of the time

I really don't see to much of a difference between them. From my point of view the sng is about getting through the bubble and playing really hard after. If you look at the 6 handed sng then 4 of them have to go after that you go very aggressive for the 1st place. On the other hand in a 9 handed or worse 10 , more players have to be eliminated (6 or 7 as the case). I prefer 6 handed but play 9 handed also. Play what it makes you more comfortable. Good luck.
