An area that I have trouble being aggressive in is when I have the largest stack size compared to two or three other players. Is it fine to play pretty passive when I have the most chips? Or am I missing some opportunities for further gain?

Welcome to the forum nikospov.

It really depends on the situation. You didn't say if you are talking about tournaments but I assume you are.

Big stack play can be tricky. You'll want to apply pressure to your opponents without becoming too reckless. If there are couple of clearly short stacks active in the hand and others have folded then by all means apply pressure with wider range and grow your stack for the end stages. But be careful if you are trying to attack players who's stacks are only slightly smaller. You'll never know when you are against a good hand and you might end up loosing half of your stack. Balance and knowing your opponent are the key in these situations.

Having said that, tournaments are not won by being overly cautious and one has to take chances.
