You probably got some bad luck there. We all have our sh**ty days, but dont make that much of a deal out of it. Dont stop playing just because the world was against you for a day
. I think the most important thing here, as the people mentioned above, about that book, I havent read it, but I think that you should. You need to improve your mindset about the game and try to remain calm while you are playing. When you go all in, even with aces, you will get beaten up sometimes, its not an immortal hand. Ive got beaten up with AA against AA who hits flush on the turn. What should I do? Destroy my house? Your mindset about the game is the most important thing, you need to overcome bad beats and such, you shouldnt let them affect your mood, or your game in the future. As for this missed full house, Ive missed like 5 or 6 Four of a kinds, by folding hands like 93o, but what you gonna do about it? Do you think this happens often enough worth to call every single hand you play? Certainly not, or else all the people would have done it. You will lose more than you will earn. Everyone misses monster hands most of the time. Ask someone and he will tell you that. Be glad and feel lucky when you hit a full house with 93o, but dont feel sorry when you hit it after you have folded. If you could be predicting the future for hands like these, you wouldnt have played poker, but the Lottery.
And, if you are not shortstacked, dont consider going all-in with hands with KQ, unless you know that if you lose that hand it wont hurt your stack that much. You wouldnt want to gamble your tournament life on a hand like that. You can get called with A2 and lose to a higher card if nothing hits. Also, for a tight player on a slow tournament AJ isnt a really good hand also. But hands like QQ AK KK, I would go all-in if its neccessary.
