Hi Hugh,
In response to your question "
what is the best online courses or training for poker Who is your favourite?" my opinion is there isn't a clear "BEST." The online training sites have different strengths/weaknesses and are valuable also according to what skills you want to further develop. If I have to pick one site then Advanced Poker Training (APT) is my choice.
APT has certainly helped me with pre-flop card selection by making me more aware of what hole cards in what position most players are able to play successfully. At times I think that this knowledge has influenced me to be too tight, so I'm constantly working to find a balance in applying the knowledge (which APT assessed >100 million
hands to come up with).
I use APT to attempt/learn/perfect new strategies (for free) so that I can then apply them in games for real $$. The trends we hear about in vlogs/forums are scary to first try with real $$, APT provides a way to try them in a simulator without busting a bankroll.
Finally, before I play for real $$ I will play 100-200 hands against the APT artificial intelligence (AI) in an effort to determine if my decision making seems to be good. If I'm having a good day - then I go for it, if I'm not, then I save the $$ and go on a hike instead!
Hope this information helps!
