The ultimate treatise on the subject is Bill Chen's "The Mathematics of Poker." Fair warning though, if you're not a math major/prodigy, it's a hard read. Think MIT calculus/stats textbook level.

For mere math mortals looking to understand the fundamentals, I recommend Owen Gaines' "Poker Math That Matters." He does an excellent job of explaining the critical poker math concepts in an easy-to-understand fashion.

1. Pat Dittmar - "Practical Poker Math"
2. Matthew Janda - "Applications of No-Limit Hold em" (recommended by many pros)
3. Slides/Videos from MIT poker class are publicly avaliable. Google -> "Mit poker class 2013"
4. Videoseries "Mathematics of NL Hold'em" by WiltOnTilt of DeucesCracked.

If math isn't your strong suit, I recommend Killer Poker By The Numbers: Mathematical Edge For Winning Play by Tony Guerrera.

Good luck ;)

I find Bill Chen's book on the Mathematics of Poker to be pretty accessible. he advocates playing distributions of hands against distribution of hands rather than single hands against single hands. It is very interesting...

Owen Gaines, Poker Math That Matters.

It is a good one. Actually i study Maths, i can have perception that it is a nice book for people who dont like mathematics or even dont understand so much. The writter explains everything in the easy compreensive way, and you will like.
I'm reading these book and you can find a quiz in the end of each chapther to remember the main concepts.

I really recommend this book.

Anything by David Skylynski. He is the Mathematical genious of poker. His books are what i started reading when i first started playing poker, and gave me an excellent skill set and outlook for the game. His books are published by 2 + 2 publishing, which says a lot right there. He had a lot of books with mason malmuth. But check them out he has books for beginners, intermediate, and advanced like game theory. If you want a handle on the mathmatics of Poker, David Skylynski is your guy. Good luck!

Anything by David Skylynski. He is the Mathematical genious of poker.
It's Sklansky and he's one of the most well known poker authors, mostly respected though controversial, and is extremely knowledgeable about a lot of things including gaming theory and math. But his poker strategy and approach is largely dated, and I'd hardly considered him "the" math genius of poker. If I had to label anyone as such, it would probably be Bill Chen but there are likely others I'd put above David S. in terms of pure math knowledge.
