Hi All.
I started playing tournament - No Limit Texas Holdem.

I use strategy:
At early phase I play very aggresive game with Raises. It often works and opponent at Turn or River Card folds and I receive POT without showing cards.
My cards ar sometime bad.

After early phase I started very tight passive game at the end of tournament of my lose.

Is this strategy good or is any tips to better playing of tournaments?

Please post you strategies here.

Thanks ALL members.:)

If that works for you then go for it. My play is opposite of yours. I play tight in the beginning and loosen up as the tournament progresses. The reason behind this is that players are very aggressive in the beginning and get tighter as the tournament progresses, in my experience at least. However, no matter how good you play or how good your strategies are you need a lot of luck to make it far into tournaments with thousands or even hundreds of players.

I don't think there is any 'one' exact strategy for ANY poker table. It does look like you are talking about freerolls though.

Your strategy looks pretty much like what I put in my notes on players as 'maniac'. Get lucky early - or bust out early.

every strategy i read online is almost the oposite of this one, but i guess if everyone plays the "right" way it may work. If everyone is playing tight early, your going to get them to fold a lot the only problem is the pots are going to be small.

MTT's I'll play pretty standard TAG. I'll limp some stuff like AJo or ATo in early position early in the tournament when there's lots of poor players still so that I can get in and dominate their hand, and I'll overlimp with small pp's and SC's in late position in multiway pots. But other than that I'm not really screwing around, and just playing solid card for value.

In one table SNG's, I play similarly in the early stages, though I'm less willing to dabble with SC's since I'm not really trying to play that much postflop poker in these. Unless you have a table of complete feebs, then these are going to be all about making +EV shoves, and doubling up right off the bat doesn't change that. It's only going to slightly delay how long you wait before you join the group and shove/fold. Once the blinds get big enough, then it becomes finding the right spots to make moves, and accumulating a stack that's enough to make the money.
