I only play Omaha on online poker sites so I don't know how it goes irl but why is Omaha always pot limit and no no-limit? I don't think I've ever seen a no-limit game. It doesn't bother me it's just curiosity.

Depends on where you play, but there is no-limit omaha.
Most people call it degen omaha.

The wild variance in a game of omaha makes the idea of having some limits desirable to most, but gamblers? True 'Degenerate Gamblers'? They're all about no-limit omaha. It's like a slot machine in a card game.

I've seen it in various online poker rooms, but I've never seen it in person.

Never seen it either.

A bit off topic but would having the no limit holdem be pot limit preflop be better? I’m talking at the micro stakes where people shove all in right at the beginning of tournaments with junk, and usually get a couple of callers. That would prevent or at least lessen it and allow more flops to be seen. Of course they could always keep reraising but you could get away cheaper, and maybe they would fold on a reraise as probably trying to steal blinds anyways.
