MIT Free Course

I am about halfway through the MIT open courseware poker class. It seems to be filled with good info. Any others out there taking this course? Thoughts? Is it worth my time?

i think waste of money the only way u will get better is by grinding and learn the game dont have to deposit play a bunch of free rolls and get used to that then once u got a grip try a 1.00 game and then once you notice your winning a lot hit the cash games that is where the better players at

No! Turn back!
Just play many many hands and you will learn all yourself. freerolls or even play money it doesn't matter.
Also those who were taught play worse then. some period. Until they realize it. Because everyone has own style. And when someone teach you, you start playing your teacher's style. But you don't understand when and how to use it. Then your results become worse. Then you try to get back to your own style. But it's hard to recall how you played before all these knowledges.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Yea MIT and PSO are so similar.

I certainly thing it is worth it. Sure you need to play poker and learn from experience, but you also need to learn how to analyze your play and understand why a good play was good and a bad play was bad. As we all know, individual results can lie. ( bad beat anyone?) I think taking a class to learn about poker and how to truly develop your game is a great tool.

mit gives a poker free course !! worth looking at i guess
