Hey guys. I just joined this forum recently so you may have noticed me in a few threads. I am a coach at DragTheBar and have a lot of experience with micro stakes full ring cash games.

DTB posts an excerpt or full video for free on its Youtube channel each month. This month they have chosen one of mine. It is the final installment to my Crushing The Micros II series and is played at NL10. I hope you enjoy it and I will be happy to answer any questions about it here.

Watched the video while at work, so I didn't have the volume very high so maybe I missed it, but, I'm assuming this is recorded post-Black Friday on Stars? If so, how have you found the games on Stars to have changed since April?

Yes post-BF, this was recorded in late August/2011. I haven't found there to be that much of change in the games other than the lower traffic numbers.

I'm in Vancouver too, playing mostly $25nl FR on Stars. It seems to me that there's a bigger portion of full tables with waiting lists to open tables than there used to be, indicating more regs and less fish, making it harder to find enough decent tables. But maybe that's just a function of the lower traffic.

I do notice that when I start tables they fill really fast, probably because of the lower traffic. Do you do much table starting?

Subscribed. Thanks to Blackrain79 and DTB for posting this. For those of you who may not know Blackrain has absolutely crushed micro full ring NLHE. He explains himself very well in his videos.

Ya I have noticed that too. Seems silly to hop on a wait list with 12 people on it. I usually try to start a few tables at the beginning of my session and it's a great way to get seated with fish. HU or 3 handed usually doesn't last for more than a couple hands. During my session, often mass tabling, I don't do it very often though.

Haha, I am actually from here. I know it has been a popular destination for Americans post BF though.

2 spots I got questions for.

At 20:30 you're at a table on the top left with the 2 fish. Its 6 handed and you fold A8s UTG. Wouldnt that be a good spot to try to get in a hand with one of the fish?

At 25:50 fish is tilt shoving ~20bbs and we fold A6o with total nits behind us. The guy just shoved J6o the hand before. Should we not call here?

Thanks for the vid.

HUD use

What HUD are you using, and would you multi table more than 2 tables without it? Thanks

Thanks for the vid.

Looks like some spots I kind of just missed. Ya, it would have been perfectly fine to open the A8s.

With the A6o, its probably a little closer. I just pokerstoved A6o versus a random range and it says 58% so its not like slam dunk equity here. Nits behind ya, but there are 4 of them I think. Its close, I don't mind fold or call.

I use Holdem Manager's HUD. I didn't use a HUD for the longest time, usually 24 tabling and thought they were a waste of time. I have since learned my lesson. I think they are crucial in today's games. However, if I was only playing a couple tables I think I could keep reads in my head. Still better to have the numbers on my screen though, can't hurt.

Ya, the A6o is marginal for sure. Just wondering how close you thought it was.
