never been on drag the bar? is it cash only or what?
Cash, MTT, SnG, mostly NLHE, with some FL, Omaha, and maybe a little mixed games here and there. Plus backgammon (by Bill Robertie, who you may remember as Dan Harrington's co-author).
Leatherass was one of the founding coaches, but left awhile back to go to BlueFire. Katy Dozier, Colin Moshman's wife, is one of the MTT coaches. Blackrain is an active micro-cash coach. Some other pretty well-known coaches are Greg "zerosum79" Jones (SnG specialist), Paul "Giant Buddha" Hoppe, and Owen "QTip" Gaines. Up until recently Jared Tendler was also our resident "mindset" coach, although he just left to take on a new venture. Hunter Bick is the CEO and HU NLHE coach.
One thing I like about DTB is that it's a smaller, more closely knit community than the other big-name training sites. It's not a bunch of faceless or pious coaches that rarely talk to players unless you pay their personal coaching fees. They'll answer your questions for free in the forum. Hunter Bick, the CEO, is active in the forums and is a very nice guy who handles a lot of customer service issues personally. The atmosphere is also very friendly compared to most. It's a lot like comparing CC with 2+2.

With all the books, online articles and forums available what does training sites have to offer that's different?
Forums, articles, and books are great as general resources. But as was said, training sites offer more intense, targeted, and concentrated training materials and opportunities. Much like with a tracker/HUD, you can become a fine player without any of it, but you'll become a better player quicker by making the investment and putting forth some effort to take advantage of it.
