hello cc ers, in the past few days ive lernt a valubable lesson [to me anyhow] in bankroll management and tought i would share it with you as i myself am a newishbe, [new word]. at poker [5 months]. i usally play cash games [stars] micro stakes but fancied a bit of a change so in the past few days ive been playing sit and goes [1.50]. was doing ok with these so i thought i would try my luck at the 3.50 ones, i played 3 and never got a place. so i went back to 1.50 ones and started placing again, my conclusion being im not upto playing that level. then after winning one of my sit + goes i noticed i hadent reset the filter and had just won a 3.50 one. after looking back at the histories i noticed when i knew i was playing 3.50s i was making a lot of bad decisions. loseing 3 3.50 ones can make a bit of a dent in the roll ive got at the moment but losesing 3 1.50 i can live with sort of speak. even if we try not to let higher stakes influence are decisions if were not properly rolled it can even subconsiously. a bit drawn out for what im trying to put across.. does it make any sense to anyone, G.L guys and gals.
