3-bet light is a pre-flop reraise with a weak hand (do not confuse with the usual 3-bet, which is not made with weak hands). The intention is to apply a bluff on someone who opens several raises preflop. Usually, it is made with hands that can flop well if the 3-bet author calls. They are weak hands, like 56, 78, JT, A2s.
What is the highest attribute a player must have to apply a 3-bet light?
In my opinion, I think the player has to have a lot of courage. And you, what do you think?

A great read that the opponent is not that strong and will probably not 4 net or shove.

I have tightened up my game a lot in the last year but I used to do it a lot. Even 5 bets over players that I felt were 4 betting light.

Still a great tool 90% of the time but a killer when they actually have a monster.:)

Yesterday I applied this maneuver with 27o, Villain C-bet, I 3-bet, villain Call, and the board favored me, the Flop came 772, for my happiness I applied check, the villain applies allin, I immediately Call, the villain shows a beautiful pair of Aces, and I get some stacks.

Pretty much any two will do in this situation. It's basically a stone cold bluff. The point is to show the overly loose aggressive player that you have a bite. You don't expect to win this hand at a showdown, and have no intention of going to a showdown. You're expecting him to be raising light, which he probably is, He may actually catch a piece of the flop, but probably not as much as you're implying that he needs to. I did this yesterday - shut the guy down for quite a while.
