Notice: I wrote this by myself, but I posted this on two other poker sites, but thought you'd benefit from it very much. If I have violated protocol by posting it on two other sites at the same time, I'm sorry, but it's important that you have this info.
I mentioned in an earlier post that even a regular mastercard (the credit card Co that notoriously declines almost all poker room deposits) will enble you to make a deposit onto a poker room. This also works for a regular visa card. You MUST get a card from a LOCAL-TO-YOU bank that is not affilliated with any major bank. Some local/small banks are actually related to big banks, so when you apply for the card, ASK if the bank is affilliated with a major bank. If yes, don't get the card. If no, then get it. Anyway, all these small banks allow transactions between their cardholders and the poker rooms. NO CREDIT UNIONS DO, HOWEVER
Last night, I wanted to go hog wild and see if the card would allow $200 deposits into 3 sites. Now, with ANY bank, 3 different deposits into poker rooms would/should raise some eyebrows. EVERY ONE WAS ACCEPTED. So, I called the 1-800 number on the card. And that phone number goes to the bank itself, not the CC validition company. of course, the bank is closed...and will be till Monday; no hassles. No 24 hour customer service, means no 24 hours watchdog guarding against poker room deposits. And no automatic refusals against transactions.
