If you are going to try to deposit at full Tilt using Western Union, you will need to change the way you have entered your name in your accoun!!! You will need to enter it in full caps. That is the way that WU sends your name to the reciever. FT requires your name to be EXACTLY the same in the senders portion of the money transfer as it is in your account. So beware and make the change.

I have found it difficult to do this and have not been able to as yet. Of course FT is refusing to put the money in my account until the change has been made. Western Union will not send it as YOU request it.

Looks like another fiasco created by the US government, and Full tilt, by not allowing us unrestricted access to or account particulars!!

That's interesting, cause in the screen shots that FT shows on how to deposit with WU.. the person's name isn't all caps..

What about for PS?

Where did you get this information? I kind of find it hard to believe that the capitalization of your name has anything to do with anything.

They sent me an email stating that it didn't. Misinformation and understanding on my part. Went back to the currency exchange where I bought sent the money order and THEY had mispelled the recievers name. It was spanish, they had a hard time.

I didn't take 24 hours iether. The funds were in my account at 9 this morning CST.

What sort of fees were involved with shipping $ to FT using western union?

Was it a flat rate or a %?

Just curious, I've been trying to keep up with the June 1 changes to stay informed.

Curious, I just tried to send money.. my email says "The Transfer Must Be Made in US Dollars" - does that mean I have to pay with US Dollars?

It's going to the Philippines, but they said they can only do it in Philippino money..

The fee was 12 dollars. I have sent money WU before and they did ask me if I had. Not sure, but it could be 24 if you haven't. Just ask them when you get there or call a currency exchange and ask what the rate will be if you haven't used them in the last 3 years.

My money also went to the Philipines, used dollars, you have to specify that.

I did specify that, and they said they had no way to change it.

Dewmz, just go to Western Union, fill out a form for the person and place Full Tilt specified, YOU tel THEM (Western Union agent) that you want the money sent in US Dollars. It'll work!

I went to a different location, and had no problems. Hardly a hassle for me, aside from having to go to a second location. Fee was only $12.. so it's not too bad.

Just have to wait for it to go through now.
