It is not a major problem for the banks to figure out where a money transfer is going. I used to wire money all the time when I was in business and they could easily block a transfer. They also have been blocking transfers to undesirable locations under the Patriot Act for over 6 years. The difference has been the amount of cooperation the banks have given the government in its enforcement on the ban on online poker transfers. Since there are criminal provisions for the bank knowingly transfering funds to a poker site
or poker processor, IMO, they have started to take it seriously. The best way would be transferring money by a private third party such as Western Union or Money Gram. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that they are outside of the authority of the anti-gambling act. Withdrawing money is apparently getting more difficult as well.
