This is an acceptable play considering your CSI is low and you have a decent hand to go all-in with.

So to be clear, in a live $350 tournament against someone who's probably on the tight side both in opening and in calling off... this is not an ideal situation. I'm not fist pumping looking down at 88 and ~15bb here.

That being said, it's definitely a profitable jam, and I think with how big he makes it pre, and the limp (which is often dead as you say), a jam is almost certainly better than a call or fold.

It's just that we're basically never getting action from hands that we have crushed - maybe just 77 and 66 at most. Whereas all better hands are calling 100%, without hesitation, and very very often we have to flip here. But I'm still jamming.

Where You play with 350 $ buy in?? I know 530 $ buy in...
I dont push 88 with 16 BB okey if You have itm than okey flip for stack


$350 and $360 are fairly common buyin sizes for live tournaments.
