Hi guys,

So just now I played on the FT of the 180 man sng 2.50$,
with 6 players left I was short with 22k when the blinds were 1500/3000

Everyone folded to me (I was on the button) and I decided to shove 78 Suited for 7.5 BB.

In the SB sat a 50k stack and in the BB a 20k stack.

Awesome if u guys could help me with this cause I honestly dont know if it was a fold or a shove.

Payout structure:

1- 123.31
2- 82.08
3- 46.78
4- 30.36
5- 23.80
6- 17.64

You may want to look up some push/fold charts. Based on how many BBs you have and how many people left to act they tell you which hands are profitable to shove in these situations. The answer here is yes. It may same like a weird thing to get used to, shoving with a weak hand, but it's just what you have to do when you get short. Also, unless the other players are good players, they probably won't be calling with weak hands. If they are good players, they will realize you are shoving lots of hands, so they may call you more often.

Yeah I don't hate that shove. With 7.5 BB you can take a stand against two random hands there, but a player in either blind may commit being so low themselves. There is always the old saying, "the only hand that calls you is the hand that beats you", but in most cases you would be live and only a slight underdog. There is good reasoning in waiting also being on the button. You do have 3 more hands you can see before the BB comes to you.

In such situations, rely on your inner voice! And as a good all-in!

Depends on the image of the players at the SB and BB. Did they play tight in order to go up in the payouts? Or they are active to see the flop. Probably the BB would call with Ax or better. 78s is a good hand to shove in such position. It also depends on your image. if you play tight in the recent hands probably the other guys will pay respect to that image.

Easy shove, pretty sure 65s/76s are also a shove in this spot, as far as suited connectors go.

Good shove, you'll get two folds often and if you don't you'll often have a lot of equity with suited connectors.

Hello. You can play here push with about 35% range (when not ante). Don`t remember, what here is blinds 1500/3000 and ante 300. Your stack 7.5 BB is only less M4 stack! You can play push with 40% range. Your 87s is 30% and your push here is ofc correct! WP! When you play tournamnets, please use stack with M numbers, no with BB, becouse BB numbers is only good to cash. In tournaments is also important ante numbers!
