Hi everybody. This is my first post here (was told numerous times from fellow CardChaters that I should post my hands to try to improve my game).
I played one $1.10 hot tournament yesterday (15.7.2016.). I was surprised that opposition was not that hard?!
Won couple of hands and build healthy stack to bring me at least close to ITM phase.
I was on the BB with AT off suit.
Flop was KAA and I got "stunned" with those two Aces. Quickly I realized that there is a possibility of somebody having AK (because those hands usually stay in the game). I thought:"I have to take the chance". Because there are already three Aces in the play. So it is just a slim chance to be another one, paired with King, somewhere around the table.
So I went for it and played like he has no AK in his hand. One player checked and next one raised preflop. Those were warning sings but I was already committed in my head (in that moment I still did not raise or anything.....but was blinded with those two AA....thus committed.). Afterwards I played "weak rises" with the intention to build up volume of the pot.
Would you Fold there or go "All-in" or what?
I'll post BOOM player link HERE, so don't look at it if you don't want to see the outcome immediately.
Thanks all for your time.

you cannot fold this strong of a hand....but you also misplayed it.

Once you flop AAK you are either way ahead or way behind. in these spots (WAWB) it's usually best to get to the river as cheaply as possible, keeping the opponents full range of bluffs in; and to call down to pick off their bluffs or weaker hands.

When you raise the flop you make it so pretty much only hands that beat you can continue.

The way I play: preflop call
flop: check call
turn: check call
river: check call

now, it's entirely possible you still may have gotten your entire stack in the middle....but the important thing is to learn how to take the most profitable lines vs. the opponent's entire range. If you raise the flop he may be able to fold hands as strong as A6 or KJ which is allowing him to get off too cheap....but he will never fold better aces.

Preflop: fine
Flop: Why are we raising here? There's still a chance we're behind and we want to keep the weaker parts of villain's range in. Check/call here.
Turn: Just jam, you're committed regardless.

Hard to get away from Eva. The sites always do leave the cold decks out there.
