Did I play it bad all the way?

Mind that the guy, in the 80 or so hands I've been on the table, had never bet pot with the nuts, always value betting his hands.

Is this ever TT? (Maybe some rephrasing, is it ever other hand than TT?)

So I floated the flop in position, with some backdoors, to try to steal the pot on the turn. What does Hero do now?

Blinds: $0.00/$0.00
Site: Full Tilt Poker
Dealt to BTN:8♦ K♦ Q♠ 6♥
Preflop:
UTG raises to $0.85 Hero calls [$0.85]
1 players fold.
BB calls [$0.60]
Total folds this street: 1
Potsize: $2.65
Flop: 10♣ 5♦ 6♠
BB checks
UTG bets [$2.65] Hero calls [$2.65]
1 players folded.
Total folds this street: 1
Potsize: $7.95
Turn: 6♦
UTG bets [$7.95]
1 players fold.

First off this is a fold PF. These are hands you don't want to waste your money on. You have a second chance to fold on the flop. What was your reason to call? On the turn you now have trips. But there is a pair on board. That and the bet screams he hit his boat. Fold! If you played this and say hit your K or Q you were very lucky. You are the type of player that any good PLO player feeds on.

Do you even know what "float" means?

Do you know what obnoxious dick means? You seem to take a belittling tone whenever you are posting replies to these posts and me.

he said villain never value bet by betting pot so he thought villain was a bit weak (because he potted) here so he floated the flop, he wasnt playing his hand, he was playing with his reads on the villains tendencies but because of the size of villains bet on the turn and the fact that he double barrelled i will have to lay this down but if he had checked on the turn, a bet would have probably won the pot so the float would have worked
listen to bbb, fold preflop
oh btw, floating is not so profitable at these stakes imo, maybe at higher stakes but not this low with all those stations out there

floating is a very fickle art in plo, especially at these stakes. Your better off just nut mining these stakes and not making too many plays.

As for the hand, i agree with the fold preflop but a call in position isn't too bad if you feel you can get villain off the hand

btw i fold the flop on the basis that i know your wanting to float, but there is a player to act behind that could easily have a hand and could call/raise, then youve just spewed chips. You ideally want to be heads up when floating

The turn is meh, i probably fold while sighing because its just unlikely villain is doing this with an overpair/bare 6. Its most likely 1 of several full houses tbh. I wouldn't hate a call then a re evaluation on the river, but thats probably just spew
