Should I fold e.g. on the turn to a nit (174 hands) betting this board in a multi-way pot.

if nits bet in 4 way pot on QQx board (when Q mostly hits callers) then I think good plan would be a fold flop. I don't remember when someone gave up on such boards on later streets. I expect next bets. So if my plan is to fold to more bets then I think there is no reason to call a flop and give up later. You will in 99% of cases gets more bets because it's a 4 way pot and no one bluffs there for fun. Especially a nit guy.

I would raise the flop and fold to a re-raise or if he fired again on the turn,( that way it only costs 18BBs to know where you are; if a player is willing and able to three-bet bluff there, more power to them. If he just calls my raise and it goes check-check on the turn I am willing to call a half pot bet on the river, probably folding to more than that ). As played, I fold the turn.

Also, you don't say what cards he had. Would a larger pre-flop raise have induced a fold ? I'm not a fan of the smaller raises I see many people making now. My standard pre-flop raise is 4BBs.

It should be pretty obvious on this board facing a pot sized, then a pot sized, then a jam that villain is not bluffing. I probably peel the flop simply because if i hit my 2 outer i will get every single dollar he has, and then fold the turn.

On this river you have a bluff catcher. You only beat a flailing KK that is just going nuts on a shitty board.

Look at this opponent.....9% vpip, 1.2% 3bet, definitely an unpolarized player. So his range in the SB must very tight range such as AQ, QQ and KQs. He is not a nit better but just tell you that he had a Q. You only can call some opponent with tons of bluff, even though on this board it is very difficult to bluff. I know it is tough to fold it but if you want to save your money, just fold the turn. You can call the flop to see whether he will check the turn with KQ.

Folding AA is always difficult.
If SB did not have a Q, what other cards would SB:
- call you pfr
- bet 9BB on a QQx board?

I just met the same scenario today but I did fold AA on the turn. This opponent is extremely unbalanced. What kind of hands do you think you can beat here? KK? This player so tight I dont think he will lead out KK here. Also I guess in his 3 bet range still have KK.

His range is capped to AQs and QQ. Fold AA is tough but you gonna find another spot man.

When he donk bets the flop you just have to raise an alarm, i would still call flop but fold to a second barrel on the turn, quite obvious that he might have Q, if indeed he had KK he would 3bet the PF.

I think this is more of a Straightforward tight player, easy to spot when he has something, he bets hard when he has, checks when he not sure and fold when he has junk.

any other thoughts?
