This is a discussion on $50 NLHE 6-max: Top two pair beaten - Can I ever fold within the online poker forums, in the Cash Game Hand Analysis section; It's the FAST version and it looks likes that there are a lot of NITS around but not enough hands to have good tells.
River:(117 BB, 2 players) 7♦ Hero bets 62.52 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 45.28 BB and is all-in
Standard 3 bet squeeze pre-flop with AK UTG folds and BTN calls.
Flop is (AK2) so good for my AK that I for once decide to check it. BTN raises I call.
a 3 comes on the turn still comfortable with my hand. I check BTN fires second bullet and I call.
Another blank comes (7) on the river. As BTN only has a half pot size bet left I decide to lead out (was not planning top fold to any bet of his and I think that the chance that he would put in another bluff was low). I was hoping that a stubborn worse A would make the call.

Not sure you could've played it much different. He flat called the turn which basically trapped you.

Lead flop to get calls from worse Axes. You can get at least 2streets of value from those hands + 1street from some gutshots if they were to float
but don't mind the check on flop to induce some bluffs but I'm probably check jamming turn as played
