Villain is at 23.2/1.4/1 over 70 hands
I am at 15.3/5.1/10 for the session.

I have stolen the blinds a couple of times recently so the guy could just be trying to make a stand. The huge overbet really makes it look like he doesn't have a king and he is just trying to scare me off, but maybe that's exactly what he wants it to look like.

I would love to check after he shoved all in, thanks for the excellent advice!

This is 99-QQ and a flush draw way more often than it's a king in my experience. You took the lead with the betting pf - wouldn't you expect a king to check and induce a c-bet so he could ch-r all in?

Also fwiw I think 88 shows up way more than Kx here as they're trying to get a king AI.

Humm... you raised twice preflop, he must respect that you may have a big hand like A-A or A-K. If the flop was something like 10-10-8 it would be more likely for him to do an all-in bluff because the 10 is not as threatening to him. But when it's kings it becomes much more likely that you have A-K or K-Q in your hand.

I would fold here. If he put you on a steal, then hand like K-Q, K-J, K-10, K-9, and 8-8 are completely legitimate re-steal hands. If he truly has nothing, then he shouldn't be too hard to outplay in a later hand.
