This is a situation I run into quite often, and I'm sure I'm not alone there. In my quest for improving my post-flop play, I'm looking for advice on my read on him and the way I played the hand.
You can see the villain is quite the nit. I had seen him 3-bet pre to fold later on the Turn or River. I'd seen him call raises pre, and fold to River C-Bet after calling C-Bets on the Flop and Turn. I do not have a good read on his actual cards played as he seldom goes to showdown.
Here, after calling my raise pre, I have him on 22 - 1010, AK, AQ S, maybe suited connectors. I am discounting JJ + simply because of the fact he didn't 3-bet pre-. The past dozen hands or so before this one I had had a decent run of cards and raised pre- quite often so he would have known I didn't have monsters every time. His raise on the Flop I assumed was representing a FD.
So I welcome your thoughts, good or bad.
