$2/$5 NLHE live hand from last night, MGM Grand in Detroit....
Our image has to be somewhat tight. For whatever reason though, people seem to think I bluff more than I actually do.
So, we pick up A-Ko in SB.
There are two limpers, we raise to $25, one caller. He is a loose gambooler. He isn't super aggro, but he isn't rolling over passive either.
Effective stacks probably about $900- $1k. It's close, but I think we cover V slightly.
Flop Ad-Kd-6h. ($60ish)
We have board covered. We check, dude bets $25.
We think it over, and raise to $85. I believe V will call. He doesn't like to fold. He does call.
Turn Qs. ($230ish)
We hesitate, think things through. We bet $150. Dude hesitates and calls.
At this point, I am thinking he may have a draw? Pocket 6-6 is out, he would have raised by now. I am really in the dark here. I think shitty A-X and FDs are what he has probably.
River 4h. ($530ish) Board reads Ad-Kd-6h-Qs-4h
At this point, I dont really think V has a hand he can call a big bet with. I am hoping he bets and value owns himself, or he will attempt to bluff, because we took a pretty strange line here. I am pretty sure he is confused and has no idea what I have.
So we check. V bets $225. We call.
I was hoping some of you might have some thoughts and advice on how to play this hand? I just want to know if there is anything I could have done differently? Line check?
Thanks in advance.
