$25 NL HE 6-max: Rush: I fold TPGK on river

Rush, so no reads...I suppose this is standard, I felt like I couldn't beat anything, sort of hated the turn card for giving me outs. What's my calling range on the river?

UTG ($127.35)
UTG+1 ($54.35)
CO ($32.15)
Hero (BTN) ($60.80)
SB ($50)
BB ($15.05)

Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is BTN K:heart: Q:heart:
UTG raises to $1.50, UTG+1 calls $1.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.50, 2 folds

Flop: Q:spade: 7:spade: 10:heart: ($5.25, 3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $4, Hero calls $4, UTG folds

now that i think about it, is there any case for pushing the turn, because I let Js9s get there? or is that too small a part of his range?

Ignoring for the moment the possibility of QQ+ (which I thought was possibly in his range here) I come up with this:

Board: Qs 7s Th 5h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 62.500% 51.65% 10.85% 500 105.00 { TT, 77, AQs, KQs, KsJs, Js9s, AQo, KQo }
Hand 1: 37.500% 26.65% 10.85% 258 105.00 { KhQh }

I didn't put any other semi-bluffs in his range, because I imagine he'd only play his strongest draws this way.

This is fine.... nit. But since the fl00sh draw missed, I'm certainly calling with AQ.

I think your mistake was you didn't play it aggressive enough. I would consider raising the flop and would definitly raise the turn, tough the way you played it. You can beat a weak Q and QJ pretty much. I guess it ends up being a fold at this point.

What are you planning to get called by that you beat when you "definitly raise the turn"?

I think AQ is optimistic but yeah I'd call. It's pretty obvious he's yamming over any turn raise with this range.

uh, you raise because you have the best hand, not to get value from worse hands.:rolleyes:

c9... maybe you just don't "get" poker. If you try and get value from worse hands you end up losing because they draw out. Its like a poker law or something.

^^^^sarcasm^^^^
Sorry to the members of the reading audience that did not read this as such.
probably came across poorly.
I'll be more careful in the future

If you try and get value from worse hands you end up winning because they chase . Its like poker .
FYP? HAHA I thought U were being sarcastic, but wasn't quiet sure..:D(Bourbon n Sierra in my cup ftw!)

I think c9 was asking what hands u think villian holds that you have beat.

asking what hands u think villian holds that you have beat and will call a raise with
FYP? We win a ton with AK on a 22223 board, but I can't think of many hands that call a river shove that we beat.

Specifically what hands that you beat that call a "definite turn bet"

There are lots of hands we beat. There are lots of hands that call our bet in the turn. But what we need is both of these elements.

If there are not hands that you beat that call a turn bet then why are you betting? To protect your hands from the draws...?

Like the way you played it. Most villains are just not capable of 3 barreling this board w/o a hand that beats yours at 50NL. Raising the flop or turn makes absolutely no sense as it folds out everything we beat and allows him to continue with a range that is ahead of ours.
