Same cardroom in Barcelona, spain.
That same good player limps in early position. I iso in the CO with to 5.5bb (11e) (std iso here) as I know he raises his good hands and limps his speculative ones and I want to play a pot with him IP with a better hand.
I know as well from another hand that he is not afraid of putting the money in if he thinks he's ahead, even with marginal hands, and he's a little suspicous of me, and a little tilted because he is -200e today. It's 3am in the morning, thursday.
He calls, after saying "this is a little marginal" .I am just 60bb deep so im planning to commit with TPTK and a SPR of about 4 and probably go home after this pot. I have a little of a wild image and he knows im a decent player. The flop comes perfect, T 5 2r. He checks, I bet like 60% of he pot (16 euros), he calls. He leads the turn (another 5) 1/3 of the pot. As most people in this cardroom, he tends to bet strongly his strong hands and not so strongly his weak ones. I think he has a weak pocket pair like 33-99 or a draw of some kind or a weaker T (TJs, TKs..) and doesnt believe I have the T. It's very unlikely he has the 5 (1 combo) and the T(1 combo). He has 3 combos of 22. I raise to 38 euros, like 2.5 as I want him to call with these weaker hands and protect my hand, setting a good shove in the river. He instacalls prettly loudly, as if he was challenged or something. The river comes a 3 and he donks 58 euros. What do you think he has? What would you do? What's your analysis? Before the river I was pretty sure he was beaten.
Oh BTW, Im kinda new to live play, any suggestions on resources for adapting to these wide ranges, ppl calling huge raises, bla bla bla?
