Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Ad Ac
fold, fold, MP calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 4 BB, MP+2 calls 4 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 3 BB
Flop : (13.5 BB, 3 players) 6d As 9d
MP checks, Hero bets 8 BB, MP+2 calls 8 BB, fold
Turn : (29.5 BB, 2 players) 2d
Hero checks, MP+2 checks
River : (29.5 BB, 2 players) 9c
Hero bets 19 BB, MP+2 calls 19 BB
Making it 3bb + 1bb per limper as usual, getting two callers. On the flop I feel I should have bet bigger, maybe somewhere around 10-12bb? The range I would give my opponent when he calls is all of the aces: AK, AQ, AJ, AT, A9 and maybe some lower suited aces as well; flush draws (ranging from 6-10 combos of them based on how many lower suited cards I think he will call with preflop), and sometimes sets if he decides to slowplay with 66 or 99.
The turn is where I seem to have no idea what is best, check or bet? Because if I bet I might fold out some aces because he thinks I have the flush, and the flushes will sometimes re-raise me, making it a tough spot especially if he puts me all-in. And if I check he can check behind often, and I will miss out on a lot of value.
Tell me what you think about the river bet as well.
And all in all, should I have gone for more value along the way, and if so, how?
