This is a discussion on $2 NLHE 6-max: AA vs Maniac Bully. Should I have double barreled? within the online poker forums, in the Cash Game Hand Analysis section; I knew this guy to be a very aggressive set miner. I was hoping that he'd bet the turn to my check as he normally
3-bet larger pre-flop. Bet the flop larger vs. someone like this who will call, and raise much lighter. I don't hate the turn check based on your read. I'd prefer a bet.
Bet the river slightly larger. As played call/fold is close because of your bet sizing. It will definitely widen his bluffing range. At this point he has 7x or air, so calling is just going to be based on your read. I don't hate a fold in this spot since even aggressive players at 2nl won't river raise very often w/o a real hand.

The 3b should be around 0.18$-0.20$ since you are OOP.The flop bet should be larger, 0.20$-0.22$.
There is no reason that you should check the turn.
You only are be beaten by 77/22/KJ and sometimes J7 but that hand would 3b you on the flop.
Now the river is a 7.
So unless villain have quads 7s then you beat his KJ now.
So you only are beaten by 22 and some 7x witch is reasonable for villain to have the way you played the hand.
So i'd say that is 50-50 for V to have you beat.

3 bet bigger pf, then bet 3 streets. Particularly when the turn brings a possible backdoor flush draw.
