Hey there,

I really want to play a couple of WCOOP events this year. It seems pretty exciting.
While I'll probably buy in to most of the NL Holdem events directly, particularly the main event is just too expensive.

So I was wondering, what are the best ways to satellite into the main event and other more expensive events? I can't seem to find particularly many satellites (other than the SNG Steps). Are more going to be available or am I missing something?

All of the satellites are listed under Events > WCOOP, I think they will probably add more and more as the dates get closer. I probably won't bother since tournaments aren't my thing anymore but I might play some satellites and get some $T or $W.

I'm dead money in MTT's, but with a $10million GTD prize pool for the main event, I think it would be rude not to try.

I know last year it attracted some live pro's. I know TonyG and Dan Harrington played in it.

Yeah, I would assume that a lot of the fields will be pretty soft. A ton of weak players will try and satellite into some of the bigger tournaments.

True, it's growing bigger every year. I think last year's first place was $1.3 million.

I think they add more and more sats as the events get closer. At least that's how they've done it the past 2 years. Heck, 4 of the WCOOP events are still restricted.

I played in the Razz last year. The field wasn't too bad for that. I had a bad stretch of no cards and only made it about 1/3 of the way through. I don't know if I'll play any events this year. The tourneys I would be interested in fall during the week, and I don't think I want to take any time off work to play.

Good luck in the events you play Chris.

Most of them are sick expensive.

Ill perhaps try to win a seat into the smaller ones, but im hardly a consistant mtt player, we will see, it does not excite me greatly.
