I'm about half a buy-in from reaching the limit I set myself to give a shot at moving to 100NL. Since I have about half my BR on pokerstars and half on full tilt poker, where do you think I should try my first shot? Any informed opinion on which 100NL player pool is the easiest to get into?

I found a great table at PokerStars the other night, until Zach showed up :) . But this table had no problem stacking with TPTK.

In my experience I have found the cash games at Pokerstars to be more profitable for me I find it easier to spot good players and donks on Pstars than I do on Fulltilt...but the highest stakes I have played on both fulltilt and pstars is 50 NL..as for tournies I like FT better and have a much better ROI on FT..Idk maybe its just me

I'd suggest u to play in pacific poker, because at the moment there are not alot of grinders there and fishes are available(both in HU and full ring). Stars has more tables than FTP, but also has more regulars.

Stars. Stars. SSSSSSSSSStars.

More traffic presumably means more donks.

Not sure if you have rakeback with Fulltilt, but if not obv stars for FPP program.

What is the point of playing on both sites anyways? I could understand it for higher stakes to try and table select across both sites, but don't need to do that at 50/100nl. IMO, if you have rakeback on FT you should play there unless you play enough volume to get like platinum on Stars. I doubt plat on stars, especially for 6 max, would get you an equivalent of 27% rakeback, unless you play the 5400 sats and have a high ROI. That said i dont' play on tilt so i don't know the respective quality of players at nl100. Stars 100nl 6 max is extremely beatable that i do know.

Well, originally, bonus whoring. And some money on both sites to play the CC games when I used to play them. Then FTP became my main site as I have rakeback there. But then there was a reload bonus on PS, so I moved some of my action there.

Now I'm seriously wondering which sites to stay at. Rakeback is an issue, but win rate might be a much bigger one. Sample size is still small, but over the 8k hands I played at 50NL in the last 2 weeks, I am running at 21 BB/100 on PS over 4k hands and at 0 BB/100 at FTP over 4k hands. Of course most of it is likely due to variance, but i have the feeling some of it is also due to softer competition at PS.

Note that if competition is indeed softer on one site and harder on the other, now that's a very good reason to play on both. Say 50nl players at FTP were as good as 100nl players at PS. Then before moving up, it's better to toughen your game on FTP at the cheaper stake while earning bread and butter on PS, then apply the improved game skill by moving up at PS.

I never play cash at Full Tilt - i dont know why, but it just seems a lot looser and you get sucked out on too often there.

I know its all in the mind :p but Stars is for the cash imo :top:
