It's a good idea, and it wou ldmost likely be +EV for everyone to play there.

But consider the type of player who actually really cares about rake. I can't imagine the legions of huge online donks saying "Hay WPEX has no rake, let's play there" - they're more likely to think "Full Tilt has pretty pictures and is endorsed by pros, let's play there" or suchlike. So I can't imagine game selection there being too great.

It's still growing.
Everyweek this site has more players. (some guy has a chart showing every day's improvement since they went to no rake).

WPEX is putting out full page ads in Magazines.

The Fish ARE starting to migrate.

And the number 1 selling point?
If you are a break-even player, you automatically become a winning player.
If you are a winning player, you win more.
If you are a moderate losing player, you become a winning to break-even player.
If you still can't come out ahead, then you now know to take up checkers.

I believe they said they think many of the poker players will bet on sports and play black jack and all of their casino games. They said many of their poker players expand at their website.

The software is CRAP! and BUGGY!
But the 100%rakeback more than makes up for it.This is a VERY ROCKISH site, so adjust accordingly.

They're just promoting the idea that all serious poker players are hopeless gamblers... which many of them are. Seriously, though, I like their idea (anything that makes poker more profitable for me is good), but at the moment I think it's probably best to wait a while and see how many players they can attract (especially fishy ones).
