Assuming most of you reading this have played for a while online, you will have probably come across some degenerates with this kind of behaviour:

That behavior is often designed for the purpose of putting people on tilt. With some, it works; not so with serious players.

On the internet, there's the added factor of generalized Internet trolling, mostly by 14-year-olds with lacking social development.

Nice :)

I hate those idiots

Last night I had a good one at my table :)

he was short stacked and shoved it, I had KQ and he had 44, I flop a open ended straight, so I had outs galore, and hit one.

Anyways he gets all mad
"shit f***edagain"
"no break left in this sorry f***ing world that's for sure"
i said "51% vs 49%, that ws a aweful beat"
"total bs"
"f*** you einstein"

I actually enjoyed that one, i felt it was a compliment :)
lol, just made me laugh others might not find it funny

I was at a table on Saturday wina freeroll and we had a stalker. This stalker kept follwing one player from table to table telling the the other players how he sucked everything out. and was winning. I chided the guy with "let me guess, he took you out" the player in question then simply said "yes"...just had to laugh!

Good for you Grumbledook

You are right (read the story)usually you get abuse when you bad beat someone. Still I think in either case it's ridiculous.

For instance, I remember a hand where I had j6. Stay with me I'm a newbie. I know J6 in itself is probably not a good starting hand, but it was suited. I must admit I'm a sucker for suited(does get me in trouble sometimes-lol). Anyway. This guy was leading all the betting I was just following. I ended up with 3 Js and he literally had nothing. He goes ballistic on me "Who plays a J6, that's absolutely dumb, etc., etc., Why didn't you just fold". I held my temper tried to explain to him it wasn't about the J6, it was about the fact that they were suited. I wanted to take a chance, then when I saw my J flop, nothing bigger and heart on the board - didn't look like anything better was going on so I rode it out. He goes suited "aint ****" All the while I'm thinking to myself well sure you have A high in your starting hand (cards not suited I might add), but no match on the board, why were you so aggressive. Finally when I figured there was no reasoning with him, I simply replied, well it won didn't it so let's just get over it and play poker. He didn't stay in the tourney long and to think he was criticizing my motives - I just thought it was funny and of course ridiculous

Bye for now.:flybye:

Been in his shoes

I can so understand how that guy fells. I was on a table the other night. Admitidly a Q8 suited heart is not the best to go all in with but it was a points table and i was in the top three anyways so i atleast would get my buy in back. I called it and would up winning with a full house and there it went. Both of the other payers let me have it like you would not believe. I had actually put the other player out. I can somewhat understnad his anger, the last man standing didn't have a leg to stand on. I did finally shut him up by telling him to let it go, that it's called gambling for a reason and my suited cards had as good a chance as any others obviously. To top it all off, I won the table. Sweet.
