I have just had my account suspended by reeferpoker. According to the notice i got it was for security reasons. Here's the story. Ever since the 3rd of January when i first noticed they had a writing contest paying 20 bucks, I have been trying to enter it. You have to go to their community page from the main website to enter. I kept getting a notice that my log in was denied.Here are the email attempts i have made to try and get the problem resolved. after three days of this I blew my stack and cussed them out good. I tried using three different browsers. The result a suspension. :D:D

If you can not present yourself in a decent manner you get what you deserve. Lacing emails with profanity is not acceptable.

So many people these days think they can just say what they want to people who are trying to provide service.

Learn how to treat people with common decency.

I mean, it is some contest they offered. Learn to control yourself. Sheeze

Have you had a hit too many yourself, or perhaps work for Reefer? hehe There was no profanity at all for the 1st 5+ emails or so. If their customer service would at least address the issue (even if they can't isolate the problem), there'd be no reason to get angry. But when you have to repeat yourself 5 times and try to reiterate the problem 5 different ways only for some idiot to still not have the small brain it would take to understand and address your concern, and make you repeat your efforts of screenshots, and waste your time, Reeferpoker got what they deserved.

You think because someone (who prolly makes little money taking abuse from poker players who think their poop don't stink) does not answer a customer service request in the way you deem appropriate....That they deserve profanities and rude behavior

I saw no rude behavior from the CS Staff at Reefer to elicit such a response

I feel sorry for you and anyone else who feels this is appropriate behavior towards others - even if they did not offer up the help you desired. This is an example of the direct reason why so many poker players have extremely poor reputations whereever they go.

Yeah..you can be mad at the lackluster, silly replies....BUT

I am over it. There is no way i would ever deposit at that site unless i won the OFC freeroll. That is the only reason i had it downloaded in the first place. :):):) It does not bother me in the least. This post was more to inform that i will not be in the OFC this weekend.

I am sorry that you experienced any issues. However I do have to say that you were contacting the support team of the client for an issue with the website forums/community page.
Which is two totally seperate things, the client and poker room itself is not the same as the website. So I will gladly help you with your account on the community page if you would send me a PM with the email or name that you used and I can have that taken care of in minutes.
We provide some of the best support that I have seen in a very long time, and really apologize for your confusion.

This post and the enclosed email is the first real progress i have seen. I really appreciate it and I will try not to be a pest in the future. I was severely aggravated when i popped off to your support staff. Received the following email so hopefully everything is fine.:)

First of all I must apologize for what is a HUGE misunderstanding by our
support staff. It is as clear as day to me that you were referring to
the reeferpoker.com website. Also there was an issue with our support
not checking for the promotion that you were referring to which added to
the confusion.

Unfortunately English is not the native language of our support staff
and they had some trouble interpreting your email correctly. They are
very used to (and good at) supporting our poker software and a question
about a related website was quite obviously outside of the scope of
their training. In this case they simply answered the question from a
software point of view repeatedly.

I'm sure they were as confused as you were frustrated as to why you
continued to send emails about the issue.

I must take the blame for this as I am responsible for their training
and this is extremely embarrassing. I can assure you that our staff will
be able to respond to your queries correctly in the future as I will be
beginning another training session with them shortly in which I will
ensure that they thoroughly read the contents of an email before
replying and if they don't understand, to forward it to a supervisor for
a response.

I have issued a $60 satellite coupon to your account compliments of the
Merge Gaming Network for the inconvenience you have suffered due to this

tournament. I hope that this event does tarnish your opinion of Reefer

Cracking, by swearing at their support and conducting yourself like an idiot in what was a simple misunderstanding from support you get a $60 voucher. Quality.

If you'd have spoke to me like that, face-to-face, if I worked at a CS type job, I would have smacked you. No need what-so-ever to come across as rudely as you did.

Small typo here, huh? Glad you got it straightened out. I get irritated with these customer service types sometimes, too, when they obviously aren't getting what you are asking and you wonder if they speak English. I don't swear at them though, although I'm hoping they realize how irritated I am. If it's a phone call, sometimes I have to hang up to avoid going too far. Lol.

That's exactly how I see it. To say "I am still getting this f$#&ing error message" is not the same as saying "you are a f$*#ing idiot" or even "you are an idiot". Muckets did not really berate them in any way, although profanity was perhaps unnecessary. But I fully understood the frustration.

Anyway, Reefer finally handled the situation with the utmost class in customer service, IMO - taking the blame and giving him the $60 coupon.

dam bro, sixty bucks is sixty bucks no matter how you spit it. ive never heard of reefer poker tho lol, not sure i would trust it all that much either


you should probly stick to the well known sites like ft and ps bro, thats where the ballers are at

Anger and rudeness get you no where in life. If you had handled it in a mature and professional manner, you may have had better success. Do they have a phone number you can contact them at?

Mr Muckets may have been a little harsh but I completely understand. I have had some run in's with very poor customer service myself. If the support staff had taken 2 sec. to read the email it would probably have been taken care of. Sometimes it seem like they don't read the email and you just get a automated response. The site I have had a problem with is EA game on more than one occasion. I bought a game for them online download. The game was not working properly and so I put a support ticket in. It states that they will reply within 24 hour. Three day's later I get an email back asking me for more info about my purchase not the game problem. So I give them the info about the purchase and again we will get back to you in 24 hour. By this time I would have had the game beat. It now takes 5 day for them to get back to me and now there asking about the game problem. So this is the time that I fly off the handle at them about the getting back to me in 24 hour. They are a very large company with the worst customer support ever. The end result is that it took almost three weeks to get the problem fixed and they refunded my money. So I got a free game out of the deal but I had to do alot of bitching. I don't like getting things for free I just wanted them to stand by there 24 hour policy. So i do understand getting heated with customer support from web site it can be very frustrating.

Gian Perroni here. Many of you know me as I run CanAffco, and represent many sites including Reefer Poker. I just wanted to say thanks for your patience and understanding of the issue that Mr Muckets experienced. As RPMichelle pointed out, the Reefer Community login is different than the Reefer Poker login, something that we will make clearer on the site, and that Merge is now aware of.

Secondly I wanted to assure you that the team that is running Reefer Poker, under my direction, are poker professionals and many of us have been in the industry since inception. While Reefer Poker by virtue of it's name may sound a little "unprofessional", please note that this site IS around for the long haul, is well funded, and we are having a hell of a lot of fun promoting it! We figured it was about time :)

If we can offer a great playing experience, some unique and different promotions, take good care of the players and affiliates, and have some fun, what the hell...I know I am enjoying it.
