boring day. Husband going to a all guys only SuperBowl Sunday Poker Fest. I`m pissed too. Thinking about going to WinStar. Never been by myself,so girls, would you go by yourself?

(I'm a stay-at-home dad, so some consider me like a girl. LOL)

Why be pissed? The SuperBowl is a historical event in many circles. Let your man do his thing once a year.

What is "WinStar"? If it is a casino, why not go by yourself? Just make sure you can make it home (stay sober or get a ride) and don't stay too late after dark.

Stupid you...Super Bowl is a tradition followed by almost all American Citizens...and it's not only great for the fans, but all the businesses, as it when they rack up their biggest bill for marketing...

Go play at your casino, and be one of the few people that are over there...

Yes, absolutely go to WinStar by yourself! I rarely go to casinos accompanied by anyone else.

Superbowl Sunday *IS* sacred but it's too bad they had to put up the "Gurls Keep Out" sign. My husband is a little miffed because he's acting in a play for someone who callously scheduled a rehearsal for this afternoon. We'll be recording the game, avoiding all media, then watching it when he gets home.

Casinos aren't that crazy, they don't pass up an opportunity.

Our biggest one here has SuperBowl Sunday, lots of cheap and free food, lots of beer, special drawings, giveaways and more I can't think of. Didn't go becuase they projected a packed house, and their parking lot looked like it would be packed earlier today when I drove by.

WinStar is a Casino in Okla. My husband plays with the guys every Thurs. The other wives dont play poker. I guess I`m from the old school and women just dont go to places " like that alone". Just an excuse.....I`m really just a chicken to walk in a place by myself. And I just NEVER liked football.

Wish I could help ya here. My advice may not apply to you. I could keep up with most guys on football. And I love football. And poker too. If my husband or S.O. attended a party that excluded me on Superbowl Sunday, I'd have to question the entire relationship. Really, SB Sunday is like X-mas for me.

I've always been very independent, and never hesitated to go anywhere myself if I thought it would be fun. I got my own drink money, and a ride/cabfare/walk home. Think whatever they wanna. Desparate? Lonely? We'll see. :D You don't owe anyone anything, not even the time of day much less a dance. There again, I'm from NYC and was brought up...different. :p

LMAO!! I know I'm bumping this, but I had to have a laugh at this. What if your guy is lucky enough to get steak and blowjob day more than once a year? ;) :p And to think that the powers that be are trying to keep the good men down by not even putting it on the calendar!

Jansue, I hope you went to the casino and yourself a good time. I always go by myself. It's a good chance for me to have some time to myself. Be strong and independent! Let loose girl! :)
