I've been looking over my roi% an noticed something strange. There is a big dip at the $20 bi level.$6-35 level i have about a 10-20% positive roi% but at 20 theres a big dip.Btw 5,10,20, are about 320 games played each.Just wondering if someone can come up with why this would be.Plus why is my profit margine seems to go down over the long run don't make much sence to me as well,ty

Have you just recently moved up to $20 sngs? This could be an explanation for both. I never really look at that graph, but looks like $5 sngs are my worst ROI (looks like 8%). I would say, if you continue loosing at the rate of that first graph, try moving back down to 10's for a little bit.

It is very possible that the regs on $20 are just plan better than me.But i seem to behead on even the higher stakes sngs.Btw i've all but played single tables exept micro stakes. Thanks jordan i see your point about thinking about droping down with out the blontness of it thank, other comments are welcome

3 possible explanation imo:

1. Varience.
2. Small sample size.
3. The regs in the 20s are better.

Yep the I'd safely say that some of the $22 STT reg's are close to unbeatable. Moving up though the limits on sit and go's alone is a very difficult feat, especially once you move past the $11 level (reg infested with players playing close to a perfect ICM based game). Several members here have unsuccessfully attempted it, and ended up very profitable cash game players.

I belive u tenbob but at the time it seems like they get very lucky to knock me out. But i quess they could very much math based an good very good at there stradigy. As for sindri the #2 reason u gave is maybe not accuirate because i know 1200 is not that many game but it should be enough to get a decent sample NO? By the way any quess to how many hands are normaly played in sng turbo's.But i'm either real unlucky what it seems to me or the regs are far far better than me which is very good posability. sorry for the piss poor grammar i don't make a liveeing at it lol.

Sometimes it seems like you get knocked out of a tournament by bad luck or a bad beat, but really it is because you were outplayed earlier in the tournament making you a short stack towards the bubble.

im refering to 320 games.
It sounds like alot and im pretty sure its more then i ever played at a single sng level but its still a small sample.
If u try sharkscoping some of the best sng grinders you will see periods of times where they are running way below/above expectetion for 300+ games.

1000 game break even stretches are not uncommon tbh. SNG's can have some wicked variance, and the higher up you go expect your ROI to reduce.
