For those of you know checked out my $10 to $500 in less than a week. I'm doing something else now. I withdrew all funds except for 30 cents... I'm going to register in the ten cent tourney probably on Sunday. Last time I played this I made 33rd place with a net of $4. Not bad if you look at it from a ratio standpoint. I am going to no longer deposit money into any online poker sites and will solely stick to .01/.02 NL or .02/.05 Limit HE Games. I am going to test my patience and skills at these low limits, the money I would usually use to fund online poker will be used solely for live cash games at my local casinos. I will also attempt to build a bankroll with play chips to try to enter the 50,000 play chip tourney for cash prizes. freerolls are still going to be played. I'm going to try my best to test myself and see what I am truly capable of. If I bust I bust and will say goodbye to the Online Poker world. More to come later.

I dont think I could run my BR up to $500 and then cash out all but $0.30. Maybe down to $100 but not $0.30. Goodluck anyways.

That's very impressive what you've been able to do. Hope you find success at these low limits. And just for clarification purposes, the buy in yournament for play chips is 500,000 not 50,000.

I think you are totally crazy but wish you the best of luck. Gratz on hitting $500 in a week btw :)

What happens if you things don't go well for awhile? I know you have to keep a positive attitude but what if you don't get the results you are expecting? Are you bound to get frustrated and give up on poker? I think you are cashing out too much and the expectations aren't very realistic. What if you go a few months without cashing?

Hope it works out for you, just hope you've thought this through. :)

GL with this sir. Might have been a little more realistic to leave a bit of a cushion in your account, but if you can accomplish this, I'd say its pretty epic. Good Luck and keep us posted!

All these people doing this these days, i think i need to try my hand in it to try and give myself something to shoot for. Mostly just playing with no direction except for the obvious 'win'. Good luck!

Also, maybe you should try the FTP Academy.
There's a big freeroll there every month, plus who knows what those Academy points will be worth. Maybe something.
Good luck!

Not knocking your guts for doing this. I think leaving the world of online poker because you went busto from 30cents is a bit hasty though, especially as you just won $500.

Good luck though.

Update: The $26 Satellite token is gone now. Played in another SNG for entry into the Double A - Took first and unregistered $12 in T$ in my account. Played in a .90 Sng busted out in 5th. Converted T$ to real money now on the .01/.02 NL Games. Sooner than expected

Started with $0.31
Today @ : $10.83

I think it is a good and bold decision. I am sure that every disciplined player can build a bankroll from scratch by playing freerolls only.

Reviving old dead threads. lol. I hate you Busboy lol. I look back at the old posts on here when I really didn't know my head from my ass when it came to poker. To be honest it wasn't until 2 years ago that I actually started studying and learning, hired a coach a year ago and have had decent success being some what profitable playing online. When I see these old threads, it's just me talking like a luckbox fish, I don't know how anyone here at CC tolerated my ignorance and lack of knowledge for this wonderful game at the time.

If you play freerolls, then you can make a small bankroll again. But why to put yourselve in a such a wierd test, which is very difficult mathematically? Anyway good luck!

I've done the exact same thing you did. My initial deposit was 150 and after i cleared all bonus and loyal rewards, i withdrawn 700 leaving behind only $0.85...lol
Been struggling by just playing freeroll and venom steps.
Last week i cleared another reward of $10 and then start playing 2NL
I have $47 now.
Actually, it's kinda fun and very challenging to build a bankroll with almost nothing.
