I play freerolls often (everyday to be onest). Sometimes kicked out before blink, but my gold is to get In The Money, no metter how much it is, offfcourse closer to the winner is better. Now winning SOME money on online freeroll tournaments is not that easy. 1000 players maybe 10% will be ITM, 0,5% will be in the "real" money... But even when im not in that real money, i get enough to play some sit n goes after...

My problem is that i play SNG right after i was kicked out of freeroll tournament, so with completly wrong strategy im rushing in totaly different game than the1 i was playing for last 3 or 4 hours... Result is tomorow i register for another freeroll tournament...

Break between these 2 is OBLIGATORY!

don't spend your freeroll winnings directly after you win them.
save up your winnings until you have a small bankroll built up, then focus on trying to build that, not switching back and forth all the time.

freerolls overall are hard thing to place in. In Full Tilt, there freerolls are 2700 max and top 1% places in the money. Yup thats right 27. That's if you can survive the first hour of donkfest. It's a great feeling, if you can place. It's even a greater feeling to win it all.

I have played more freerolls than I dare to say some people just go all in and if they win that hand it gives them a start or they are out most people dont have the patience to play a freeroll or dont want to spend that much time on it. I try to play just good hands and the blinds of course and have managed to get in the money most times but you have to be willing to wait for good hands that is my advice for whats its worth.
