Here's a quick poker wisdom for all you poker players out there.

"You don't have to win every bluff you make. When you do get caught bluffing it may increase your callers and the pot size the next time you have a strong hand, Anyone can bluff but recognizing when a bluff is your bestplay can make the difference between a long or short night at the table."

True, but not first and foremost for the advertisement value; the reason you don't need to win every time you bluff is that you win more when you succeed than you lose when you get called.

In limit poker, a bluff often only has to be successful 20% of the times to be profitable. Sometimes even less.

I think it was Annie Duke that said, "If you don't get caught with your hand in the cookie jar once in awhile, then you're not playing poker." Or something like that. Good advice. :D

If you are winning every bluff you make, you should bluff every single hand until you lose.
