Could someone explain the difference between slow roll vs. slow play... Im not sure I understand the difference. Would it be like if you have the nuts and when its your turn you take a long time just to check if your slow rolling someone, but if your slow playing, you check quickly and reraise later?

slow playing is where you check to wait for the opponet to improve their hand so that when you bet later on with the nuts you will be able to get more money out of him or her.

on the other hand slow rolling has nothing to do how the hand is played. after all the betting is complete and it is time to show your hands(this only applies to live poker, not internet!) the winner of the hand waits a long time to show his/her hand even though they know they have the hand won. it is considered highly disrescpectful.

This is wrong it very much applys to online as well.
I was playing a tournement and one guy pushes all-in on a 88A board, the other guy activaites his time-bank and lets it expire before calling and showing 88.
Thats a slowroll.
