Should I play at more than one site?

Reading other people's posts on here leads me to believe that most people have accounts at different poker sites. Is there any advantage to this or am I missing out on something (other than the deposit bonus) by sticking with one site? I mainly play NL cash games at 0.5/0.10 or sometimes 0.12/0.25 levels.

Yes, there is an advantage as each site has their own promotions. However, there is also a argument to be made that playing on one site might give you greater rewards, this would have less impact on the lowest levels.

I personally only play at one (except very occasionally). I would recommend sticking with one site, unless you are first starting and trying to figure out which site best fits your play.

I play at several sites but 90% of games are on the same 2 or three of my favorites.Interesting that you mention how you fair ok on one site and do poorly on another.I also find this with sites that I play and have no real answer as to why. It happens so consistantly and has been for so long that I really wonder about such things as random generation programs or whatever it is these sites use.Its almost as if your name or ip or download is jinxed :).It could be that I require a Rabbits foot and a four leaf clover when playing on stars :) :) :)

Keep you all posted on the Rabbits foot

I play at three sites - UB, FTP, and PS. Right now I haven't touched my UB account because PokerTracker 3 doesn't support it yet. For me personally, I like to see variety and I like to change it up. Otherwise it'd be the "same old same old" to me and it would burn me out. Having three rooms to play in is a nice fun option for me. Since I do not play 15,000,000 hands a month like some on here, I am not worried about missing out on Gold or Platinum programs on Stars.

I only play at one because my bankroll isn't big enough to split across multiple sites.

Eventually I'd like to have an account at the two biggest sites though (FT and PS) because there's things like forum games that I'm missing out on at the moment, and different sites offer different types of games as well (I'd like to have a crack at deuce-seven at some point, for example, but FT doesn't offer it).
