-325 in a single day.

Lost headsup I hit two boats only for someone to suck out to a higher one.
Lost to QQ headsup twice with Aces them hitting qqq
and lost a flush to a higher (by 1 card)

pokerstars has single handily sucked away my bankroll. I haven't even played bad. This is so messed up.

yeah, horrible BR management... you need to step down in limits when this happens. I've done this myself and it hurts a lot in the long run.

Actually all you can do is bet your boat hard like Im sure you did. You have no control over what people chase with. To many fish at them level tables. If I had a 400 Br I would play 10 sit n gos 9 mans. Thats the best way to build up br. Sounds like you are not setting limits on your losing per day. Also playing beyond your bankroll it seems calm bown and reset your game before you lose the rest of your money

Wow this takes the cake.

To deplete the last amount of my bankroll I am heads up..

I am holding J8.

Flop: J83

I bet it hard. and he calls.

Turn is 3

I bet hard again he calls

River is K

I bet all in he calls

He shows me K8

I guess pokerstars wanted all their winnings back from that tourney.

I think you're running bad, but it's hard to say awful after 5 hands. But, a few hundred/thousand more hands and we could have seen if PS is truly rigged?

Not if your BR happens to be a few grand, or if regular $500 deposits are no problem. Have you tried the Ferguson BR Management advice on FullTilt? If not, it's worth a read.

Premier player, imagine running like that in 9 out of 10 MTTs, that is exactly how I run. I usually play $25-$200 buyin MTTs, and of the last like 10 MTTs I've played I've only cashed once. In EVERY SINGLE ONE of these tournaments I got all my chips into the middle on the flop, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I was a huge huge huge favorite, and EVERY SINGLE TIME the other guy drew out. The most common thing to happen is I flop trips on a board of 3 of the same suit. For example, I'll have two black kings in the hole and the flop will come King 7 5 all hearts. Someone will bet, I'll raise all in, he'll call with a jack high flush draw or 10 high flush draw (never did one of my opponents even have an ace high flush draw, every time they drew out it was with a smaller flush draw). The pot is gigantic at this point, the winner of the pot will be in a good position to make the final table of the MTT, and of course the turn is a heart.

Just a few hours ago in the fifty fifty tournament on Full Tilt this happened to me again execpt this time I called a preflop raise with 66. Flop came 6 8 J all diamonds and neither of my 6s were diamonds. I'm first to act, I bet almost the entire pot, I get raised all in by a player with K of diamonds Jack of hearts. I call, and the turn is a diamond.

It is impossible for one of your sixes to be of diamonds in this situation because the six of diamonds is on the flop and can not be in your hand.

lol at least he didn't do what other people do and forget that when they're making up hands for people to feel sorry for them that it's not possible for there to be 2 of one card.

And to the OP, whether or not you started using good BR management, you should not lose from 400 to 0 in a single day using proper BRM. You needed to drop down a level (or 2 or 3 as you lost more and more). The point of it is unless you hit an ungodly bad run (as in more unlikely than getting hit by a car... while you're in bed) you will never go broke. If you want to risk a little more with more of a chance of reward (if you win you make money quicker but you give yourself a higher chance of doing what you did) that's fine, but then don't be surprised when bad BRM finds you busting, even if you played perfect poker.

Most of the beats you seem to relate above were not exactly 'huge, huge' huge favorites' IMO. Facing a one suit board on the flop, I would really have to consider more options than all-in - like folding to his all-in...

That's the risk you take on one-suited boards post-flop. If you don't have any of them, there are still 10 more out there - somewhere. If your opponent has one, that's still 9 outs for them, not counting any card values. Maybe not as 'huge, huge' as you think??

Your last example, the 66. With 6,8,Jd board, you were even betting against a possible straight flush draw. Wow - NL and the big end of Pot Limit takes some big Kahunas to make those calls, especially when certain castration is 30% or better.

Better luck next time. My Kahunas just crawled up inside and aren't coming out for a week.... :D

I play $25 max with only $350 BR.The only difference I see in what I'm doing is when I get down to $250(which I hope don't happen),I will drop down a level.

You have to suck it up and be able to drop down when things aren't going your way.If you do not have it in you to do this then get depositing or find a better hobby.

Remember tho, it's a lot different than if I had AA and he had a flush draw. Then he's not even a 2:1 underdog if he gets to see the turn and river. But when I have KK and the flop comes K - x - x all of the same suit, I have 6 outs to a full house, negating some of his outs. So really he's almost a 3:1 underdog to win. So I am a huge huge favorite with trip Kings.
