Rounders 2?

Hey at least there is a chance of Rounders 2, they're still working on ideas, but it would be really interesting to see where they would go with the storyline.

I'm not sure how to do it, but it would be very cool to see online poker worked into the storyline. I'm sure with online poker so popular, it would be sure thing you would see it in the movie somehow.

Doutbful, because the 2 writers from Rounders are indeed working on a new poker movie about online poker in Costa Rica ... and they've signed Leonardo DiCaprio to be in it. Yes, it sounds like I am making this up, but it's true.

Does the first one turn into crap as soon as the sequel comes out?
Even thou i think it would suck if it was ever made it still doesnt destroy the first one :S.

Another rounders would be great.
The first was the greatest poker movie ever,but I have faith they can make the secind one just as good.

Its not a questinon of IF they should make it. It's a question of what will they call it?
Hopefully they can break get Turturro back for it. Great character.

Supposedly everyone is willing to come back, now its only can they find a great new idea to work with.

I would love to see another rounders movie. The first was was super and im sure the sequel will be just as good if not better. Can't wait for it to be released. Great news thanks

Why would you assume that a sequel would be as good as the first?

I would love to see more poker movies, adding more pros in the movie would be ftw =).

If they do a second Rounders, I hope they at least get Matt Damon,,,unless they are going with a different storyline, Which would you rather see, a sequel or a different lead and a different story?

I can't imagine the sequel being as good as the first. I don't think they had intended to make a sequel when they made the first, and those afterthought add-ons very seldom live up to the original.

of course it would have to be a new story with all new characters with a new story line or one that they could go off of the last scene were matt damon gets in cab and heads to vegas for the wsop but i think that story pretty much ended but for a Rounders 2 movie i would totally go new story line as well as characters

Rounders is one of my favorite movies and now they have a two comming wow. I really dont know how it could top the first one. It has to have the same people in it only new guests would enhance it if they change all the peoeple it would be stupid because we have already fell in love with the characters like the russian( the last time when i stick it to ya) lol my favorite.

Bring it on! If the second one sucks then it won't become a classic and we will still have the first one! Didn't know about the other poker movie, hope they do online poker justice!
