I am running REALLY bad. I am having serious problem shaking it. I have had to drop a level, and I am still getting crushed. I can look back at many hands and only see the villian catching on the river. I have cut my BR in half and I am about to stop for a LONG time.

I think I may just reread super system.

I am losing my mind!!!!

Mate STOP PLAYING! (Had to yell at you :))

seriously I had the same thing this January, I went interstate for 1 week and did nothing associated with poker. I wouldn't even recommend reading Super System. Take some time off, cool down and avoid all forms of poker. When you feel you are ready to approach the next game/session with a fresh mind then jump back on just make sure you do take an adequate break.

Keep your chin up and remember that it happens to everyone, it's how you come back from it that will determine whether you will be a winner or loser long term.

Good luck and as I said, take a break and get some rest.

Mate STOP PLAYING!

I must whole heartedly agree!!! I had a terrible run for a while. People catching garbage turned into frustration and me making bad calls. I took a week off and when I started back up, I was making less bad calls . . . maybe I should have stayed away longer!!!

Put on the brakes...

Take a hiatus even if just a couple days clear your mind of poker. Walk the dog, ride your bike, shag your gal, dont matter what you do as long as it doesn't remind you of poker... I took a break for 3 days on a bad down turn came back bankroll up 3 bucks the first day... I know Im not a WHALE but it did seem to do the trick for me an my short stack...

play increasingly weaker hands at increasingly higher stakes until you can confirm a change of luck;-)
