Ok so I've got a question in regards to the Sunday Million and to Sunday 100,000K.

I've noticed that this Sundays Million has a buy in of $530 and next Sundays buy-in is only $215??? Why is there a difference? Or are these two different tournaments?

I also noticed that the "Sunday" 100Grand has a buy-in of $11, while the nightly is $162??

The Sunday Million is $215 for 3 weeks out of the month and $530 for the other week.

The Sunday 100K is an $11 donkament that they just started like 6 or 7 weeks ago. It has drawn almost 20,000 players. The Nightly $162 gets alot less.

The once a month $530.00 buy-in million on PS's, is to shorten the field. Most of the time the $530.00 buy-in field will have up to 40% less entries. The satellites are also more expensive to get into it. For example, instead of 4 seats offered, with a full double shoot out, only two are offered when its a 530.00 buy in. I never miss the 530.00 buy-in, although I wish I had, so far.

Sunday Million is...

Every week $215. (3 times per month) 6500+ people

Last week of every month $530. (1 per month) 4000+ people

After every 3 months $1050 (1 per 3 months) 3000+ ? (only seen it on once, lol)

Question regarding the 1mill sunday

Hi all,
Since the original question has been answered I would like to ask a question regarding the sunday million. My first deposit is going to be made with pokerstars this weekend and so far i've only played in freerolls there. I would like to know from some of the regular pokerstars players the best way to qualify for the larger tournaments, should I be looking at the lowest satellites or will there be a lot of "donks" in those or should I be looking at higher entry fee satellites?
I'm really looking for the best ways to qualify for the larger tourneys and would appreciate any feedback from those who have already managed to do this without having to do a direct buy-in.
Just trying to get a little heads up on the best way to do this, i'd rather play one qualifyer at $10 with decent players than play 10 $1 with a bunch of morons if you know what I mean.
Thanks for any tips/advice.

Tony:)

Id go into alot of detail, but this week is for the $530 sunday million.....

Hence, it will be harder to get into and/or more costly.

My personal experience has just been the $3 rebuy tourneys for sunday million, have gotten CLOSE many times. (But this is a rebuy, I DO NOT like rebuys... but this is a good way to get ticket.) <--- lots o donks

Another cool way, is to pay into the somewhat rare $6 turbos for SM, win the $55 first round... then use the $55 to win the 2nd round ($215 aka ticket)

Ive won the first round of $55 before, few times,.... have no succceeded in 2nd round...

You sound like you want to play with.... less donks.... I recommend the 2nd option..... $6 game

I have qualified into the Sunday mil (the 215 version) via the following methods:

$3 rebuy, $36+3 satellite, 10.70+1 double shootout.

I qualified into the $530 event 1 time, via a cheap rebuy event, kept the T$ and didsn't play.

The $3 rebuy on SUNDAYS are the best bet, the field is usually huge and lots of tickets up for grabs in a relatively soft field. The $11r games imo are a little better, the quality of play is better but not as many donks.

Both of these games are turbos, and you need to get at least one good hand in the mid stages, if you do then its crusise to the ticket.

Thanks all:)

Hi all,
Thanks for the tips, i'm going to check out the ones mentioned here, not a big fan of re-buys myself as I tend to get drawn in to re-buying more than originally planned but I will probably have a go at least once this way.
The two round seems ok via the $6 turbo that Monoxide mentioned or the $11 that tenbob and reglardave mentions both seem good ways to go.
I will probably have a try at these and see which one is better for me, thanks for the heads up and I will post back and let you know if I get anywhere, lol.
