Poker After Dark Dream Week Picks

This is "Dream Week" on Poker After Dark. An amateur, who won his spot in an online tournament, got to pick 5 pros to play against.

My question has two parts.

If you won this, who would you play against, because you'd like to play with them?

If you won this, and magically knew you would win on the show, who would you play against because you wold LOVE to beat them?

The five I'd love to play with are: TJ Cloutier, Annie Duke, Clonie Gawin, Doyle Brunson and Phil Laak.

The five I'd love to beat are: Jamie Gold, Gavin Smith, Phil Gordon, Eli Elezra and Shawn Sheikhan.

Play with: Huck Seed, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Alan Cunningham, Patrik Antonios.

Beat: See above.

Reasons: No noise, no distractions, no dramatics, no playing to the camera, no crying, just pure poker.
Playtime can start after I win.

Just cause when i see them on TV the all seem pretty likable and are probably my favorite pros.

Yep, dull in the sense that I am not being entertained/annoyed by the more colourful characters in the game. But I would be there first and foremost to play poker and learn from the pro's. I have a much better chance of doing that with the names I mentioned imo. Saying that, if I were there for entertainment value, my choices would be very different, though I don't think I would learn as much that way. It all boils down to what you would want from the experience, you made your choices, and I made mine.

Good lord yes, Ross Hamilton indeed. Though I would be happy to beat him regardless of whether it was playing poker or not. :stickyman

Agreed. Even thou i dont really find the other guys i picked likable i still feel bad for puting them in there with Hamilton

Good grief. If these guys were on the same show, it wouldn't be about who won, but who was the last one alive at the end of the week.

i'd play with jerry yang, jamie gold, guy laliberte, chris moneymaker and jennifer tilly.
