When I'm playing a single table tourney live...it's draws and luck that usually get me the win...but online, I'm a rock..any reason why I would be ths way?

Kind of the opposite of what i think most people do. Maybe it's a boredom thing? hands come quicker, and maybe you're surfing the net or watching a movie or something while you play so you're feeling more patient? Also maybe mindset, do you go to the casino to have some fun and gamble, but maybe take your online play as a serious attempt at building a bankroll?

Well when I play no limit its free poker live...its a satellite to get into a bigger tourney...its a single table thing and try as i might, I just can't win playing tight... My poker buds call it "donkey poker" but hey it's been working for me..when i play online, I have like a double inside straight draw WITH a flush draw, and the majority of the time I miss both..I jjust dont get it!

i feel its the opposite also, live games arent as lucky as internet...live games just require a huge amount of patience...

I don't know, guys...I tend to pull straights and flushes out of thin air in lkive games..yet as I said...when I have like half the deck online, I can't catch an out. So I just play like a rock.

I agree with IvegotOuts, I would have also thought it to be the opposite. I think he was right, you probably have something that occupies your boredom online and are therefore more patient.
