I see no difference from online poker to live poker in terms of bad beats. Same amount of bs will happen.
Yes, OP would be alone in his assumption.
But - online is still different than live in one respect. Bad beats and 'outdraws' happen, of course. The biggest difference is that you see far more questionable play online, therefore far more upsets to the favorite or dominating hand.
Think of how many times you see situations online with the AKs making a standard/large raise and the 92o going over the top with an all-in. At least where I play live, this just doesn't happen without
some logic (ss,
bluff, etc). Online, it's just an 'I feel lucky' play.
There WILL be a small difference, IMO, but it still happens in both arenas.
